Location: Maxine’s house
In the second filming session we
went off site to Maxine's house to film Aimee getting out of bed, reading the
poem, and Aimee and Amie talking at the door. Before filming we made sure
that she had the correct costume which
was pyjamas and normal clothing.
When filming Aimee reading the poem
we tried a range of different shots from different angles. We tried angles from
the side, behind Aimee looking at the computer screen, we also tried filming
Aimee as if the camera was the computer
which would be able to be used for a split screen.
For the other parts of filming
again we tried different shots so that when editing we had different options
which we could use for that part of the trailer.
When filming Amie outside and using the front door as she walked into the house we had to make sure that continuity was kept throughout the sequence, so when editing it would look continuous. This happened so we did not need to film anything again. However when filming outside there was a lot of background noise from a busy road in front of the house. So when editing I had to edit the volume of the cars so that they were quitter and less noticeable. I also edited the sound from some of the other shots that had dialogue of Aimee so it was louder and clearer. This all happened after evaluating the filming and playing music against the trailer.
Although when filming at certain
times there was lots of background noise as there was building works and a dog
barking but when re- watching the filming it was not affected.
